“No, thank you. I am not interested,” was Zari Hassan’s response to Ringtone, after the gospel singer claimed to have acquired a new Range Rover Sport as a gift for the Ugandan businesswoman.
Speaking on Citizen TV’s 10 Over 10 show Friday night (May 12), Zari Hassan said Ringtone has never reached out to her, and expressed interest in her at a personal level.

“I only came to know about the guy (Ringtone), when I came to Kenya,” said Ms Hassan.
Zari, nonetheless, said she was impressed by Ringtone’s “courage” to publicly express interest in her.
Turning down Ringtone’s offer, the entrepreneur said she has enough money to buy a car of her choice, including a Range Rover, which she acquired last week.
Ringtone has been hogging media headlines after he claimed he was ready to marry the mother of five, who separated from her immediate ex-lover Diamond Platnumz on February 14 this year.
Ringtone, on Friday May 12, drove the new top-of-the range car to Lions Place in Westlands, Nairobi, where Zari Hassan was being interviewed on Classic FM.
He said he wanted to hand over the car to Zari, but slimly missed her, as she had left Lions Place just before he arrived.
Ringtone’s object of desire [Zari] has, seemingly, put out his burning yearn for her after declaring publicly that she is not interested in him.
Zari, in the 10 Over 10 interview, also revealed that she is not ready to date anytime soon, saying she is concentrating on raising her five children.
“When I fall in love, I go all in. I want to stay single this year, and rebuild Zari. However, should I fall in love, again, my next partner will not be a public figure,” she said.
Zari Hassan broke up with Diamond Platnumz, citing incessant cheating by the “Sikomi” star.
