Women Representative welcomes bouncing baby boy after 17-year wait

Nyeri County Women Representative Priscilla Nyokabi Kanyua has welcomed a bouncing baby boy.

Ms Nyokabi, 37, took to social media on Monday, May 23 to announce the arrival of her second born Baby Kiiru. The newborn has been named after the parliamentarian’s father-in-law.

“Mum and baby are recovering well…It’s a whole new experience all over again, happy happy and Thanking God over and over,” she wrote on Facebook.

The first-time TNA MP added that her family and that of her husband’s were delighted at the news.

The legislator’s first born is a daughter – 17 years old and a Form Four candidate.

The Women Representative’s social media updates are usually issue-based and not hinged on personality – but this was and is good news.

Priscilla Nyokabi was nominated by the Nation Media Group’s Business Daily as one of the Top 40, under 40 women excelling in their careers in 2010 and 2011.

eDaily wishes the new mother and her son happiness in their new journey.
