Tanzanian actress Wema Sepetu has hinted that there are chances she won’t attend the birthday party of Diamond Platnumz’s daughter Latiffah Dangote.
Wema Sepetu had previously confirmed that she would attend Latiffah’s birthday party in South Africa on August 17.
The award-winning film star cast doubt on her impending trip while wishing Latiffah Dangote a happy birthday on Monday, August 7.
The three-year-old’s official birthday date is August 6, but due to a desire to throw her a mega bash, her parents postponed her soiree to August 17.
“God bless the next big thing; like father like daughter. On August 6, a star was born. Kindly, don’t speculate that I would attend Tiffah’s birthday party. Neither should you speculate that I won’t go for her party in South Africa. All I did [in this post] is wish the little angel [a happy birthday]. That’s it!” said Wema Sepetu on Instgram on Monday.
Late last month, Wema Sepetu received an invite from Diamond Platnumz to attend Latiffah’s birthday party.
“I hear Babu Tale [Diamond’s manager] inquiring if we do have passports. I want to tell him, yes we do; and I, alongside other female members of the Wasafi company committee, will be there for Tiffah’s birthday on August 17,” said Wema at a WCB function in Dar es Salaam, which had been organised by Babu Tale.
Zari Hassan, as a result, told Wema Sepetu that she doesn’t want to see her on August 17, when Tiffah’s birthday party would be held, saying she doesn’t want guests who would “dirty” her house.
Wema Sepetu and Zari Hassan have, often, differed in public with Zari accusing Wema Sepetu of causing her break-up with Diamond Platnumz.
Wema Sepetu dated Diamond in an on-and-off affair, which ended in November, 2014.
Zari Hassan, thereafter, kick-started a relationship with the award-winning musician.
Their relationship, however, ended in February, 2018, with Zari accusing Diamond of cheating on her multiple times.
Zari and Diamond are blessed with two children; Latiffah Dangote, 3, and Prince Nillan, 1.
