Top Tanzanian actress Wema Sepetu and her superstar boyfriend Idris Sultan are mourning the death of their unborn twins.
Speaking to a Tanzanian publication, a close ally of the Tanzanian sweetheart said that Wema was in good condition when they last went out for a party at Maraha in Dar es Salaam.
“I was with Wema attending an event for team Bella and she seemed fine and happy. What was surprising though is that the whole entire time she did not take alcohol as she did before,” said the source.
Wema and Idriss’ relationship made news in Tanzania after the two were spotted cozying up to each other by several tabloids. Wema, who is superstar Diamond Platnumz ex-flame, soon confirmed the relationship and its seriousness when she revealed that she was expecting his child.
The news that the two superstars were expecting twins lit their lives with happiness and so much joy.
A reliable source who spoke to Tanzania’s global publishers pointed out that Wema’s health condition had changed drastically; she started having stomach cramps and was immediately rushed to the hospital but it was too late.
“Never have I seen Wema and Idris cry with so much pain like this. It’s very easy for people who have not undergone this to think that Wema is just putting an act for people. But if you are someone close to them like me, you could have seen the pain that the couple was going through,” added the source.
However, speaking to the same Tanzanian publication, the former Miss Tanzania says that as per now she is so overwhelmed and can’t talk about the issue. Further, she requested that she should be given time to deal with her loss
On his side, Big Brother 2014 winner Idris Sultan went to his social media and shared with his fans a heartfelt post that he wrote dedicated to his unborn twins.
In the post, Sultan wrote, “God brings and takes as he plans and we cannot complain but only pray that all that was for a better reason and a better plan in store for us.
“We have learnt lessons painfully but won’t stop trying again and again and do swear by the time your brothers and sisters are made to come to this world we will be more than ready for them.”

To my unborn twins,
“So quickly you came into our lives, So quickly torn away. Never got the chance to meet you. There’s so much I want to say. All these thoughts running through my head, It’s enough to drive me insane.Though you lived only 13 short weeks, you were loved so very much. I wish that I could hold you, I long to feel your touch. I pray that in another life, We get the chance to meet. God brings and takes as he plans and we cannot complain but only pray that all that was for a better reason and a better plan in store for us. We have learnt lessons painfully but won’t stop trying again and again and do swear by the time your brothers and sisters are made to come to this world we will be more than ready for them.”
Sincerely Your Dad. ❤️
