Wealthy Kenyan singer Esther Akoth popularly known as Akothee will tie the knot with her Swiss fiancé on November 5, 2016, eDaily has learnt.
Akothee got engaged to her Swiss lover February this year. Her bae has sired Akothee’s two sons Oyoo, 4, and Ojwang, 6.
“5th of November 2016. Venue: (passport, visa, air ticket). That one who remained standing, he has collected me and my set of #teambigfive (her five children). Marry the man who loves you, not the one you are madly in love with. Don’t ask me his age because if he is younger than me, you will call me sugar mummy and if he is older than me you will call him a sponsor,” Akothee said.
Via a Facebook post early this week, the flashy singer also hinted that she probably is heavy with her sixth child.
“While you are still in my past, I am already enjoying my present, baby number…loading. I am blessed Akoth.”
The Give It To Me hit-maker is currently on a Switzerland tour where she is having a blast.
The November wedding will be Akothee’s second after he split up with the father of her three teenage daughters nearly ten years ago.
Akothee had cleared high school and joined her husband who had then landed a job in Nairobi.
Their life was a humble one, the singer told Citizen Digital. She recalled how friends gave them simple household items such as mwikos sufurias, and mattresses to start a new life together.
Sadly, her husband left her for another woman when he got wealthy.
“Maybe I am not a romantic woman, and so he got bored with me on October 6, 2006 and dumped me with our three kids,” said Akothee.
From being a mere house-help, to a taxi and matatu driver, she climbed up the social ladder to become an extremely rich woman.
She has invested vastly in a number of ventures including in real estate (Akothee Property) and transport business (Akothee Safaris).
Apart from driving around in expensive cars, Akothee is always on shopping sprees and prolonged holidays in Europe.
Akothee has four luxurious homes in North Coast, Mombasa, Nairobi, Rakwaro in Migori County and a four-bedroomed house in Zurich, Switzerland.
