‘We will expose you,’ Redsan tells promoters who left Tiwa Savage stranded

Kenyan dancehall singer Swabri Mohammed, popularly known as Redsan, has fired a warning shot to rogue promoters saying he will expose them.

This comes barely a day after Nigerian songstress Tiwa Savage posted a rant on social media alleging that she was abandoned by promoters of Redsan’s ‘Baddest’ album launch after the show.

Taking to Instagram, Redsan also stated that – despite the incident – he was still tight with Tiwa Savage whom he thanked for showing up and pulling an “amazing show” alongside Jamaican dancehall artist Demarco.

The ‘Badder than most’ hitmaker further accused rogue promoters of “killing this industry and messing us up.”

“… for the vulture promoters who always come between artists your time is up. We will expose you, this has become a norm in Kenya where vultures wait for you to go through the expenses and the sacrifices of bringing good musicians to our country and then they show up last minute to steal the price,” wrote Redsan.

In a series of tweets posted on Monday morning, Tiwa claimed the promoters failed to settle her hotel accommodation and that transportation to the airport was not availed for herself and her entourage.

“Checking out of the hotel and full accommodation not paid for, no car to take us to the airport and promoters want to talk trash about artists,” wrote the ‘All Over’ hitmaker.

The highly acclaimed songstress further accused the said promoters and relevant event organizers of blowing up her phone for interviews before the show but feigning sleep and switching off their phones afterwards.

“Funny how everyone is asleep and phones are off after the show but they blow up your phone when they need you for radio and press runs before the show,” she added.
