President Uhuru Kenyatta is cool!
On Saturday, September 10 the President literally stood from his seat at the Jubilee Party official launch in Kasarani and let gospel singer Bahati sit on it as he sang the song Mama to Kenya’s First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.
This rare gesture has had many talking, with quotas wondering if the same act could have taken place with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s predecessors Mwai Kibaki and Daniel Moi.
Bahati, in a mild moment of excitement, threw his legs up in the air while seated on the President’s chair.
The award-winning gospel act went ahead to ask the First Lady to dance along with him as he held her hands before a powerful crowd comprising thousands of Jubilee supporters.
Deputy President William Ruto also got down to Bahati’s music.
Jubilee Party on Saturday, September 10 officially merged nearly 11 political parties into one outfit ahead of 2017 General Election.
