A First Year student at the Maasai Mara University in Narok County died Tuesday after developing breathing problems, shortly after visiting the washrooms at 6:30am.
According to Narok police boss, Smollets Munyanzi, the student identified as Julius Indigo had just returned to the hostel after a short call, when he developed breathing problems and collapsed.
His friend namely Paskal Onchwanga and a security officer at the institution identified as Peter Muroire rushed the student to the varsity’s clinic before taking her to Narok Referral Hospital, where he died shortly after arrival.
The student’s body was immediately transferred to the hospital’s morgue.
