Popular Canadian pop singer, Justin Bieber, has turned down an offer of Ksh 500million to perform at the Republican National Convention where Donald Trump was crowned as the party’s presidential candidate, TMZ reports.
The Sorry singer was contacted with an offer to perform for 45 minutes at the Republican National Convention.
“We’re told the promoter assured Justin’s people the event was ‘not political’ and Justin would not be endorsing Trump or any GOP policies,” the entertainment outlet reported.
Sources privy to the Canadian sensation told TMZ that the money, $5million (Ksh. 500m), was raised by Grand Old Party (GOP) donors.
But it seems that all those zeros were not enough to convince Beiber to link his brand to that over the controversial politician.
