Tiwa Savage stranded after Redsan album launch as promoters switch off phones

Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has called out promoters of Redsan’s ‘Baddest’ album launch for abandoning her after the event.

The award-winning songstress and Jamaican dancehall star Demarco were the guest acts for the album launch that went down on Saturday at the Carnivore.

In a series of tweets posted on Monday morning, Tiwa claimed the promoters failed to settle her hotel accommodation and that transportation to the airport was not availed for herself and her entourage.

“Checking out of the hotel and full accommodation not paid for, no car to take us to the airport and promoters want to talk trash about artists,” wrote the ‘All Over’ hitmaker.

The highly acclaimed songstress further accused the said promoters and relevant event organizers of blowing up her phone for interviews before the show but feigning sleep and switching off their phones afterwards.

“Funny how everyone is asleep and phones are off after the show but they blow up your phone when they need you for radio and press runs before the show,” she added.

Redsan and P.R Manager Anyiko Owoko, who handled the publicity for the event, declined to respond to the claims as calls and text messages went unanswered.
