Kush Tracey of Huwezi Nidandia hit has confirmed she is dating Welle Welle star Timmy Dat.
The duo that was involved in a grisly road accident near Maasai Mall in Ongata Rongai on April 9, were rumoured to be dating – but no official confirmation had been made by the pair.
Well, Kush Tracey has now come out to set the record straight.
In a recent interview with Radio Citizen’s Mambo Mseto, Kush Tracey, born Teresia Ndoti, said she has been seeing Timmy Dat and that she is enjoying the relationship.
She said: “We are seeing each other. At the end of the day, we are both grownups. He is a single guy and I am a single girl; and we have been friends for a while. The friendship later grew into a romantic relationship.”
The 21-year-old adds that they complement and support each other in their projects – including music.
“You know at the end of the day you cannot just get into a relationship without having a basis; it is the little things that make people stick together for long. I think it’s a good fit. I am easy. He is good and at the end of the day, we’ll continue being together and do music at the same time,” said Tracey.
The pair survived the gory Rongai accident after they were rushed to Sinai Hospital for urgent care.
The saloon car they were in got hit by a speeding lorry, and the lorry overturned, causing traffic on the busy Magadi road.
Kush Tracey and Timmy Dat were discharged from hospital on April 13.
