Back in the day, school wasn’t school if you didn’t read Hallo Children.
Almost every child who grew up in the 80’s and 90’s read the tales of Mary, Tom and Mr. Kamau.
Ours were the days before Facebook, so we actually stuck our faces in real books.
In Swahili class, we thumbed through Hekaya Za Abunwasistifling laughter as Abunwasi tricked people with his cunning ways.
