South African rapper Refiloe Maele Phoolo, popularly known as Cassper Nyovest, is officially headed to Kenya.
The award winning artist announced the news via his Twitter handle, posting, “Speaking of African countries, Kenya!!!! I’m coming down next month!!!! Can’t wait to see y’all!!!”
Cassper, who has been named one of Africa’s richest and highest paid rappers, is famed for bangers such as Tito Mboweni, Doc Shebeleza and Phumakim.
He has also been nominated for and won a number of awards both in South Africa and beyond.
Cassper Nyovest is also one of the few African rappers to ever sell out and fill up an entire stadium.
The rapper, who is no stranger to controversy, was also recently on the spot for blasting a Twitter user who compared him to the late Winnie Mandela.
Details of his upcoming Kenyan performance are yet to be officially revealed.
