Nairobi Senator Gidion Mbuvi alias Mike Sonko lost his cool Saturday, September 10 when a crowd of excited youth attempted to hang on to his vehicle when making his way into Kasarani Stadium for the official launch of Jubilee Party (JP).
The visibly agitated Senator, who was standing on the roof of his 4X4 car branded with Jubilee Party colours, was seen pushing youth who were excited to see him – and just wanted to rest their hands on his car.
However, his security detail swiftly swung into action granting the Senator a less turbulent entry into the venue.
President Uhuru Kenyatta’s convoy shortly thereafter made its way into Kasarani Stadium with Jubilee Party supporters erupting in cheers.
Jubilee Party on Saturday, September 10 officially merged nearly 11 political parties into one outfit ahead of 2017 General Election.
