Gospel singer Size 8, born Linet Munyali, says she expects the Government to allocate a significant amount of funds toward developing Kenya’s entertainment industry.
Treasury CS Henry Rotich will present Kenya’s 2018/2019 Ksh3.07 trillion budget on Thursday afternoon (June 14).
“Under the youth kitty, some money should be channeled, specifically, to the entertainment industry. Kenyans, who would love to pursue artistic works such as music, acting, dance and other performances, should feel represented in the budget,” Size 8 told EDAILY on phone Thursday.
The mother-of-one also urged the State to allocate funds toward free sanitary towels programme for school-going girls.
