Reports doing the rounds on social media that Kenyan singer Jaguar passed away on Tuesday afternoon are false.
Similarly Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo, who was also rumoured to have died over the weekend, has rubbished the claims.
Jaguar sent eDaily a statement to deny rumours that were published on a local undependable blog Tuesday that he died after he was involved in an accident along Sigona – Nakuru highway.
“I would like to assure you that I am alive and well, going about my work. Kindly ignore any text messages going round suggesting the same,” Jaguar said.
Eddy Kenzo on the other hand took to Facebook Tuesday to dispel rumours that he died after he was involved in a road accident over the weekend while travelling to perform in Masindi, Western Uganda.
“…Who goes around misleading people?” posed Kenzo.
The BET award-winner says the propagators of the rumours are bent on tainting his image and ruining his lucrative musical career.
