Bien-Aime Baraza, one-quarter of top boy band, Sauti Sol, has revealed that his relationship with fitness expert, Chiki Onukwe, is intact.
Reports had surfaced early Friday, June 16, that the two lovebirds broke up two weeks ago, with the original report claiming Bien had cited “too much pressure put on him by Chiki” as the reason for their break up.
The reports further claimed Chiki had moved out of an apartment she was sharing with Bien.
Bien took to his Instagram page Friday afternoon and posted a video of his shirtless self holding his partner, Chiki, while dancing as they sang to the track Love Again by C4 Pedro featuring his group, Sauti Sol.
“Watasema mchana, usiku watalala. This s**t is still lit (They will gossip during the day, but when night falls, they’ll just have to retire to bed. This relationship is still intact),” wrote Bien-Aime Baraza.
Chiki and Bien met at a club nearly two years ago after Bien-Aime was introduced to her by fashion designer Emmanuel Jambo. Then, Chiki had no clue how popular Bien-Aime was, neither did she seem interested in him. But after their conversation, they exchanged contacts between them – and one thing led to another.
“I loved him for who he is, not because he is a celebrity and he knows that. I do not really get worried thinking about the girls who throw themselves at him. Besides, before I started dating him, I knew his showbiz lifestyle and I did not come to change him. I trust him,” she told The Standard in a March 25, 2016 interview.
“Besides, I meet as many men as he meets women but we stay faithful by choice. When people attack us, I just feel sad for them because Bien and I will still go to bed happy,” added the fitness expert.
