Tanzanian billionaire Mohamed Dewji, 43, has likened Cristiano Ronaldo’s now viral stare of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah to that of a bitter and jealous person, who wouldn’t want success to come another person’s way.
Posting the picture to his social media pages last weekend, Dewji said: “We’re living in a world which has many people with evil intentions. People who are hypocritical, jealous and bitter. Always ensure that you’re protected by God such that when bad people cross your path, their evil intentions don’t negatively impact you.
“Let their evil intentions not affect your health, education, marriage or business.”
The Cristiano Ronaldo-Mo Salah picture was taken on May 26 in Kiev, Ukraine, where Ronaldo’s Real Madrid played against English side, Liverpool, in the UEFA Champions League final, which the Spanish side won 3-1. The photograph was captured a few minutes to the kick off of the grand finale.
Mo Salah was substituted 30 minutes into the game after he sustained an injury to his shoulder following a clash with Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.
Mo Dewji, who has interest in textile and edible oils business, is worth $1.4 billion (Ksh142 billion); and is ranked 17th wealthiest person in Africa by Forbes.
