Barely a week after receiving the news of the death of his longtime producer Sniper, Kenyan rapper Kennedy Ombima – popularly known as King Kaka – is in mourning again.
Razz Msupa, one of the hardcore female rappers King Kaka featured in his 2013 smash hit ‘Ligi Soo Remix’, has reportedly passed on.
Taking to social media to announce the news, the Kaka Empire Founder & CEO expressed disbelief at the femcee’s death only hours after he had seen her and prayed with her in hospital.
“I am now ready for 2021 too much going on this year, Just saw you jana night and prayed, it’s sad that you are gone. Razzmsupa Tuko Ligi Soo !!!! Safiri Salama,” wrote the Hip Hop heavyweight, alongside a video of Razz’z verse on ‘Ligi Soo Remix.’
Nana Owiti, King Kaka’s fiance’ and mother of two of his children, also mourned the fallen rapstress on Instagram reminiscing their last moments together.
“You lay on that bed peacefully and as you tried to fight. Didn’t know it was the last time we see you breathing. We are beyond sad,” wrote Nana.
PR practitioner Magero, who accompanied King Kaka and Nana during the last trip to see Razz, also mourned her saying: “…we saw you struggle to breathe despite you being on on the oxygen mask, this broke our hearts and as we left the hospital @thekingkaka told us “itabidi tukuwe wastrong” little did we know that, that would be the last time we’d see you alive on earth. RIP Dayo.”
