Raila Junior has promised to uplift the life of Ethic group member, SWAT, saying “he only needs to ask”.
Junior, the son of ODM leader Raila Odinga, says that would be “one of the many ways” he can show his appreciation of the musician’s talent.
The entrepreneur says he is a “big fan” of SWAT.
Speaking to EDAILY on Friday, Raila Junior said: “I wish to know his background. That would help me know what kind of assistance I can offer him should he need one. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for him. Should he want me to put up a recording label for him and his group members, I am ready. If he wants me to help them get shows, I would book them for several gigs. I am ready to do all that because SWAT has shown how much of a talented rapper he is,” said Junior.
Raila Junior says Ethic’s “Instagram” is his favourite song in his playlist currently.
In the group, SWAT, alias Mtoto wa Eunice, is his best entertainer, saying the young man, though controversial, is creative and gifted lyrically.
“I have been listening to his songs for a while now, and his choice of words is amazing. His giftedness is currently being appreciated internationally. SWAT’s style of music will propel him to greater heights,” said Raila Junior.
Two weeks ago, SWAT grabbed media attention, when he was recorded on video being roughed up by a mob on allegations of stealing from a home.
Claims later emerged that SWAT was nabbed smoking bhang with his friends.
It remains unclear why the crowd formed around him.
