President Uhuru Kenyatta’s niece, Nana Gecaga on Friday turned 40 and she celebrated the best way only she could.
The Kenyatta International Conference Center (KICC) Director hosted an all white party at a resort in Malindi owned by Italian billionaire Flavio Briatore who, only in January, threatened to pull his investments out of the town terming it as a “a stinking and filthy town and the roads full of potholes.”
Among those who attended the high profile birthday party included Nana’s brother and President Kenyatta’s personal assistant, Jomo Gecaga as well as flamboyant Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko.
The two were reported to have flown to Malindi in a private jet just to catch the celebrations, bringing with them white and gold themed t-shirts for the entire entourage inscribed ‘Keep Calm It’s Nana’s Birthday.’
Nana had earlier on thrown a Champagne Birthday Brunch attended by, among others, TV personality Lola Hannigan.
She also revealed, via her Instagram, that she had been gifted a brand new pair of expensive-looking Giuseppe Zanotti shoes as a birthday present. She, however, did not reveal from whom they came.
