Top Tanzanian actress Wema Sepetu has ruled out any possibility of getting back together with her superstar ex-boyfriend, Diamond Platnumz, saying “life has to move on” and the best thing her fans can do is pray for her to get wealthy man for a husband.
Wema Sepetu was, recently, responding to a follower on Instagram who wanted her to publicly declare that she won’t meddle in Diamond Platnumz and Zari Hassan’s relationship.
The fan also asked Wema Sepetu to recognise that Diamond Platnumz is now a father of two children with Zari Hassan.
“Baby, who told you that I want to get back together with Diamond Platnumz? Life has to go on (sic). That guy (Diamond Platnumz) has two kids for crying out loud. It is about time you guys accept that me and Naseeb (Diamond Platnumz’s real name) are no more. What you should be doing is praying for me to get a good man, not just any other man, but a man who is not famous; a man who is respectful. And my sister Mange Kimambi said: a man who is financially loaded!” said Wema Sepetu.
Wema Sepetu and Diamond Platnumz met recently at the birthday party of Diamond Platnumz’s manager, Sallam Sharaff, where they (Wema and Diamond) took photos together, eliciting speculations online of a possible reunion of the ex-couple.
Diamond Platnumz and Wema Sepetu broke up in November, 2014 after a series of irreconcilable differences.
Diamond Platnumz would in December, 2014 hook up and kick off a relationship with Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan, with whom they now have two children together.
Wema Sepetu on the other hand, had been in an on-and-off relationship with 2014 Big Brother Africa winner, Idris Sultan.
The two would later break up in April, 2016.
Ever since, Wema Sepetu has been linked to different men including a Tanzanian MP, a wealthy Congolese man, a model known as Calisah; among other men.
She is yet to make known whom she is dating currently.
