The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Shamea Morton is getting married tomorrow (Saturday, July 22) to his Kenyan fiancé Gerald Mwangi, who is a successful businessman.
Shamea took to social media early this week to share the good news with her 124, 000 plus followers on Instagram.
Shamea and Mwangi took part in a traditional dowry ceremony in April, 2017.
Shamea previously said the wedding will take place in Nyeri on July 22nd, and the reception will be held on Mount Kenya.
She said she wants to party “all night long” with her wedding guests, who she hopes will include Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss, Todd Tucker, Cynthia Bailey, and Porsha Williams.
“I want them to leave like, ‘Oh my goodness, that was fun.’”
The couple first met at a lounge in Atlanta, but it wasn’t until they reconnected at a cook-out later in the weekend that they really hit it off. “We talked for hours and we’ve been inseparable ever since,” Shamea said during an interview with the Daily Nation in January.
Shamea Morton is an actress and singer, who currently works as the Atlanta Hawks in-game host as well as a radio personality for a local station.
A Georgia native, Shamea is the youngest of three girls and considers her family to be a very tight knit group.
