Saumu Mbuvi graduated from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) on Thursday, June 30 – and her proud father threw her a mega bash at their Mua Hills home in Machakos County.
The star-studded event began at 4:30pm on Thursday and ended on Friday, July 1.
Among key acts that performed at the event include Tanzania’s Ali Kiba, gospel singer Esther Wahome, secular artiste Jaguar among others.
“The joy of any parent is to see their children excel and prosper in life. Today (June 30) is a very special day for my family. My first born daughter has finally graduated from university, she’s one of the few people who knows the real me. I sired her while I was in school when I was still a hustler. I thank God for making this possible and I shall forever be grateful. As a father, I am a very happy man. Congratulations my beloved daughter Saumu Mbuvi,” Sonko said on Facebook, July 1.
Saumu Sonko, a former student leader at JKUAT-Karen Campus, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication.
