NTV journalist Ken Mijungu on Friday, May 6 tied the knot with the love of his life going by the pseudonym Lolo in a traditional Koito wedding that was held in Baringo County.
Among key guests of the ceremony were NTV journalists Mark Masai, Larry Madowo, Trevor Ombija, Andrew Ochieng’ among others.
The bride Lolo stunned in yellow mermaid dress, aqua blue necklace and a headgear; with her bridesmaids dazzling in blue body hugging dresses.
Ken Mijungu on the other hand wore an easy black pair of trousers and a red-and-black African print shirt.
According to Kalenjin community, Koito refers to the day when the man goes to his fiancée’s home, negotiates dowry and formally “marries” the girl.
And when Ken was sure he’d struck a deal with Lolo’s family, he took to Instagram to express his happiness.
He wrote: “Done and dusted. #myperson #mylove #mywife.”
The adorable pair has been dating for an undisclosed period now – with Ken Mijungu’s social media pages being a haven of photos of his flame.
Mijungu engaged Lolo in February 6, 2016.
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Mijungu!
