A university of Nairobi student has sued a member of staff at the National Assembly for allegedly sodomizing him (student).
The Parliament staff (name withheld due to legal implication) allegedly sexually assaulted the university student (name withheld due to sensitivity of the case) on February 10, 2018 at 4am at the National Assembly premises.
The charge sheet reads: “Mr…on the 10th day of February, 2018 at about 0400hrs in Nairobi City within Nairobi County unlawfully used his penis to penetrate the anus of Mr…”
Another charge dated February 26 reads: “Mr… on the 10th day of February, 2018 at about 0400hrs in Nairobi City within Nairobi County, intentionally touched the buttocks and anus of Mr… with his penis against his will.”
The alleged sexual assault incident happened after the Parliament staff “arrested” the student under the pretense of being a police officer. He, thereafter, took him to the Parliament Buildings, where the alleged sexual assault happened.
“Mr… on the 10th day of February, 2018 at about 0400hrs in Nairobi City within Nairobi County, falsely presented himself to be a person employed in the public service as a police officer and assumed to arrest Mr…,” reads another personation charge.
The complainant has, however, agreed to withdraw the case from Milimani Law Courts after he allegedly received a Ksh5, 000 bribe from the defendant.
