The music Industry’s Royal couple, Jay Z and Beyoncé Knowles, has always risen above and to the top of all situations.
After being given a two month notice to vacate a prime rental estate, the couple is now renting a new 5 bedroom, 6 bathroom lavish house in the same neighborhood.
The new home is a (45 million) Ksh 4.6 billion Hombly Hills Palace that was owned by Los Angeles Dodgers owner, Frank McCourt.
McCourt sold the house to a British billionaire last year, but the new owner was hardly in the said home and just left it vacant.
McCourt then recently decided to put it on the market for lease for around ($150 000) Ksh15.5 million a month.
Sources who helped facilitate the move told the acclaimed tabloid, TMZ that; Beyonce and Jay Z signed a 1year lease.
Their new house is 20,000 square feet, complete with an indoor Olympic-sized pool complex and an outdoor pool with a waterfall and formal gardens.
The mansion living areas boast floor-to-wall windows and white marble floors, and there is also a gourmet kitchen, spa and steam room.
The couple recently proved that no one is safe from eviction when they were given 60 days to vacate from the Hombly Hills mansion they had been renting.
The star couple was forced to move after the owner of their previous house decided to sell the property.
They were reportedly outbid on their by Mine Craft creator Markus Persson, who swooped in with a $70 million offer for the Beverly Hills home in December.
The Carters first found their way in the Los Angeles neighborhood when they were between tours.
They rented their former home for ($200,000) Ksh20.6 million a month.
It spread over 16,000-square-feet, the minimalist white facade home has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms and a dramatic two-storey living room.
It also embraces the outdoors thanks to giant glass windows. Perfect for a celebrity’s lifestyle, the private house sits on 1.4 acres of ‘park-like grounds’.
Apart from their Hombly Hills home, Jey and Bey also own an apartment in Tribeca New York, but they have decided to move because they believe it is a better place for their daughter, Blue Ivy.
The wide area is fit for their three-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy to play.
They relocated from the Empire State to California earlier this year, and Blue Ivy is reportedly enrolled in a $15,000-a-year preschool.
However, their palace has an interesting story behind it. The man who sold them the home Frank McCourt was caught in a nine-digit bitter divorce.
The divorce publicly unearthed scandalous information about the couple’s spending habits such as taking loans from the Dodgers businesses for their personal benefit.
