Nakuru woman loses Ksh600, 000 in aeroplane engine scam, Nairobi pastor involved

A Nairobi-based pastor was on Monday, September 11 arraigned before Nakuru Chief Magistrate, Godfrey Oduor, for obtaining money by false pretense.

It is alleged that Zachary Njoroge of Jehovah Jireh Church in Nairobi’s Kahawa West on separate dates between February 22, 2017 and April 25, 2017 received Ksh600, 000 from Jane Nduyu pretending he could sell used aeroplane engines to her.

Njoroge denied the charge and was released on a Ksh200, 000 bond with an alternative of Ksh150, 000 cash bail.

The case will be mentioned on September 25, 2017.
