Loise Kibor, the daughter of prominent Uasin Gishu farmer Jackson Kibor, was on Monday, September 11 arraigned at an Eldoret court over fraud.
The court heard that Loise Kibor fraudulently obtained Ksh1.6 million from Hosea Tenai between April and June, 2017 after promising to import him a car.
Since being charged, Loise Kibor had defied two court summons, which led to an arrest warrant being issued against her by the court.
Appearing before Eldoret Chief Magistrate Charles Obulutsa on Monday, Loise Kibor pleaded not guilty to the fraud charge.
Loise Kibor was released on a Ksh100, 000 cash bail.
