Kenyan musician Madtraxx, born George Muigai, is mourning the death of his elder sister Dr. Njeri Muigai.
Dr. Njeri Muigai, who was eight months pregnant, passed away on Monday, April 17 at her home in Nairobi.
Dr. Njeri’s mother found her lying on the bathroom floor unconscious. Dr. Njeri was rushed to a Nairobi hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Her unborn baby, too, did not survive.
Dr. Njeri, a medical practitioner, was in her late thirties.
Kenya Medical Practitioners and Pharmacists and Dentist Union (KMPDU) Secretary General Dr. Ouma Oluga has expressed shock at the untimely death of Dr. Njeri Muigai.
“No, Njeri Muigai, you can’t die now. How can you go when we hadn’t even begun working on our plans. Your untimely demise is just very sad news; unacceptable to our hearts. Rest with the angels beautiful. We remain broken,” said Dr. Oluga.
