A man believed to be between his 20s and early 30s has been found dead at a lodging facility in Maua Town in Igembe South Sub-County.

The cause of the man’s death remains unknown, though it is suspected he committed suicide.

Kaibu Sub-Location assistant chief, Jeremiah Mugambi, confirmed the incident, saying the lodging facility manager informed him about the man’s demise.

An investigation into the incident has begun.

The man’s body was moved to Maua General Hospital mortuary.
