Prezzo and Jaguar

Meet the people who reconciled Prezzo and Jaguar

Musician Charles ‘Jaguar’ Kanyi and Jackson Makini, popularly known as Prezzo have expressed gratitude towards all the individuals involved in bringing them back on talking terms.

Jaguar and Prezzo, who have had a longstanding feud, recently resolved their differences and even released a new track together.

Speaking during Citizen TV’s Friday night show, 10 over 10, with Willis Raburu, the two stars said they had decided to squash their beef for the betterment of our entertainment industry.

The two, who are currently riding high with their Timika hit, even went as far as apologizing to each other for all the hurtful words traded during their beef period.

“I want to say that I respect him (Prezzo) and if there’s anything I said to brush him the wrong way, I ask him to forgive him,” said Jaguar.

“Me too,” replied Prezzo, further adding, albeit on a lighter note”…and even when I said back then that the only Jaguar I know is a car, that was nonsense, you know I recognized you.”

Jaguar then named five individuals as being among the team that brought them back together, namely;

1. Professor Jay

Professor Jay, real name Joseph Haule, is a legendary Tanzanian Hip Hop artist who has maintained relevance in the game since 2001.

The artist, known for popular hits such as Zali La Mentali, was elected to Tanzanian parliament as MP for Mikumi Constituency.

Prof. Jay married his long term partner Grace Mgonjo at a lavish ceremony last year.

2. AY

Ambwene Allen Yessiah, better known by his stage name ‘AY,’ is another celebrated Tanzanian Hip Hop artist who began his music career with a group knon as S.O.G in 1996 but went solo in 2002.

The award-winning Zigo hitmaker got hitched to Remy in two separate lavish wedding ceremonies held in Rwanda and Tanzania early this year.

Among those in attendance were Shaffie Weru, Professor Jay and Mwana F.A.

3. Mzazi Willy M Tuva

Willy M. Tuva is a popular Kenyan media personality who hosts the Mambo Mseto show on Radio Citizen as well as Mseto East Africa on Citizen TV.

Mzazi, as he is most commonly referred to in entertainment circles, has been credited with giving wings to many artists from the region.

4. Fundi Frank

Fundi Frank is a Kenyan Fashion Designer who also dabs as an MC on Mseto Entertainment with Mzazi Willy M Tuva and DJ Flash.

Frank, who has dressed celebrities like AY, Nameless and Jaguar, was also credited with being among the pioneers of Swahili Rap in Kenya.

The fifth individual credited with bringing Prezzo and Jaguar back on talking terms is DJ Sappy.
