A 42-year-old man in Ohio, United States shocked residents after allegedly killing his girlfriend then hacking into her Facebook account to accuse her of cheating before committing suicide, reported cleveland.com.
According to the website, Elyria police in Ohio responded to gunfire on Sunday where they found 40-year-old Keisha Betton shot in the chest. She was later pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
Eyewitnesses told the outlet that the couple had had an argument late in the night before they heard gunshots from the house.
According to police investigations, Leonzo Bufford – after committing the act – took Keisha’s phone and posted on Facebook before taking off.
“Never play with someone’s emotions or cheat on them when they give you their all, please respect their love and devotion, someone will end up hurt or worse dead,” read the post in part.
Bufford then allegedly drove to his ex-girlfriend’s house where he proceeded to shoot her and her boyfriend before escaping.
The two, who are still hospitalised, informed the police of the incident and Bufford’s escape.
The police reportedly went after Bafford who after leading the police in a chase, pulled over and took his own life.
