Police in Oldonyiro Sub-Location, Isiolo County have launched a manhunt for a 25-year-old man who fatally stabbed his 41-year-old sister using a kitchen knife after a quarrel ensued between them on Tuesday, November 14.
According to Oldonyiro Sub-Location administrator, Charles Ng’etich, the suspect, Letabao Lekula, killed Ntamau Lekula a few days after she returned to their parents’ home in Nduguzanguni area.
The area administrator claimed Lekula had left her matrimonial home after differing with her husband.
Mr Ng’etich further said, until the Tuesday incident, the suspect and the deceased were constantly wrangling over issues yet to be established.
It is alleged Letabao carried Lekula’s body from their parents’ home and dumped it in a nearby ditch. He was, however, seen by children in the neighborhood, who alerted the police.
Lekula’s body was moved to Nanyuki Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary.
