A spurned man, going by the moniker Baba Rachael, has become a Facebook sensation after his narration on how his wife, only identified as Mama Rachael, left him for another man after his constant cheating habits became unbearable for Mama Rachael.
The man, who claims to have been in a union with Mama Rachael for 3 years, said Mama Rachael, tied the knot with another man on Saturday, March 31 in a traditional wedding despite being married to him (Baba Rachael) at the time.
Baba Rachael says his cheating ways was what drove his wife to the arms of the other man, and that he regrets not loving his wife back at a time she was vulnerable.
EDAILY could not immediately verify authenticity of Baba Rachael’s revelation.
Below is his narration, which has since gone viral on Facebook, gaining popularity on pages such as Kilimani Mums and Dads:
“I was married for 3 years until Saturday (March 31).
“I used to flirt with other girls and my wife found out (kawaida tu ya wanaume). She confronted me and I kicked her out (speak of pride), but we reconciled, took her back and life continued.
“I still (went ahead to flirt) with my babes; I even created a very strong password so that she could not access my phone.
“Last year, around May, my wife started changing; she started wearing different hairstyles from her usual ponytail and (also wore different) brands of perfume. She looked more beautiful and she was ever happy. She stopped bothering my phone and my life, and I thought it was good; and she was just amazing.
“Most Saturdays, she would take our babies out and she decorated our house, bought new stuff repainted it and the most mesmerising thing is the new 52-inch Samsung TV, a bigger fridge and a 6-seat dining table, which she bought. Our house looked more like a home.
“I still flirted with my babes despite her change. Around December (2017), I found my wife scrolling through my phone. How she knew my password, remains a mystery to me, and she was reading my chat with this particular girl, Nancy Wambui. I shouted at her, but she quietly handed the phone to me and she said: ‘Sina ubaya’. (Little did I know)
“All these were not problematic to me. The problem, is last weekend but one she told me ameenda kuona shosho yake and I agreed, I gave her Ksh12, 000 for transport, and little shopping for shosho as I looked for more money to sustain the children. All that was not a problem. The problem was, I found out that my wife moved on kitambo. When she found out that I was flirting with other girls, she met another man and her traditional (wedding) was held on Saturday (juzi). Really Mama Rechael?
“How did all that happen without my consent? Yaani this woman, she dated someone and she’s married bado akiwa kwangu? Unbelievable, and she still invested in our house like nobody’s business! Why did you buy this stuff? Ama zilikuwa za kunifunga tu macho? I never saw any sign of her cheating on me; her phone was always on the table, I never heard her talk to anyone, all this time! How?
“All I need is custody of my two girls. I just want Rachael and Brianna back. Anyone who can assist me get them, (please do so). I don’t know how I’m going to live without them. I’m hurting. They are all I need. That [expletive] can go wherever she wants to.”
