Lady Jaydee: I was a rough girl growing up

Popular Tanzanian singer, Judith Wambura, known to many by her moniker as Lady Jaydee, has opened up on beating up both men and women in her hey days.

Lady Jaydee, a guest at Radio Citizen’s Mambo Mseto Show said that she does not condone provocation.

“In the past, I used to fight both men and women if I am provoked. I have never been beaten because am so tough,” she told Mambo Mseto host Mzazi Willy M. Tuva.

Pressed further, the Joto Hasira singer said she used any object around in fighting when she was pushed to the limit.

“I didn’t just use kicks and blows, anything around – glasses, bottles everything.”

The 37-year-old said it is long since she was involved in a brawl adding that the fighting was so rampant during her school days.

Lady Jaydee, known to many because of her beautiful Swahili, revealed releasing a video for the track Sawa na Wao- which has since gone viral online.
