A Kenyan rugby player reported missing by his wife has caused a stir on Twitter after it emerged that he was allegedly at a friend’s house.
‘Missing’ posters of Kenya Harlequins player Lyle Asiligwa spread through social media at about 10am Tuesday morning after his ‘disappearance’ was reported at Kabete Police Station.
According to tweets posted by the Kenya Rugby Union, the former Kenya rugby team scrum-half was last seen leaving Muthure at 5:30am driving a black Toyota Fielder.

Barely an hour later after his purported disappearance, Mr. Asiligwa emerged from the woodwork safe and sound. His only explanation? “I’m OK. Not to worry.”
Reports, however, started flying round social media that the sportsman had spent a better part of the previous night at a drinking joint in the uptown neighbourhood of Loresho.
He, allegedly, spent the rest of the night in the house of a friend who has been identified online as ‘Eva.’
Mr. Asiligwa has now become the butt of all jokes and memes on social media, with most men hailing him for his ‘heroic deeds.’
