Rapper Kennedy Ombima, popularly known as King Kaka, is set to drop a track featuring famed American actor and comedian Tracy Morgan.
King Kaka, who also doubles up as the CEO of Kaka Empire, made the announcement on leading American radio station Hot 97.
The track featuring the comedian will be a part of King Kaka’s soon to be released album titled ‘Eastlando Royalty.’
Speaking during the interview, Tracy Morgan – a hip hop head himself – stated that he agreed to jump on the record because he liked it.
King Kaka is currently in New York for the Goalkeepers 2018 conference where he sat on a panel with, among others, Trisha Shetty and Melinda Gates.
He has been credited with being the first Kenyan artiste ever to be hosted on the show and if his collabo with Tracy Morgan does indeed materialize, then he will be well on his way to the Kenyan music industry history books.
The ‘Run Ting’ hitmaker is also most notable for his collabo with Jorma of Lonely Island titled ‘Spin the globe (Simba)’ which was the first ever track featuring a Kenyan artist to clock over 1 million views on YouTube.
