Amidst all the anger and uproar over racism in the global scene, popular Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has brought the experience a little closer home.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the ‘Yes Bana’ hitmaker narrated how he was racially profiled by home owners in Nairobi’s Lang’ata area last year.
According to the OG, as he is popularly known, he had gone to inquire about some houses he was interested in taking up occupancy in but was denied entry.
The Blue Ink records boss said he was turned away because he was not an Indian and “only Indians can own property in that area.”
Comedian Obinna, taking to the comment section, said a similar experience happened to him only last week in Parklands.
