Khaligraph Jones perceived kind gesture toward his longtime nemesis, Octopizzo, has drawn mixed reactions on social media.
Octopizzo recently released a new hit single called “Babylon” and – unexpectedly –, Khaligraph was at the forefront championing for it to get massive airplay and listenership.
Taking to his Instagram page recently, the “Mazishi” rapper applauded Octopizzo for outdoing himself in the new jam, even going ahead to compare the Kibera-raised musician to the USA’s rap group Migos.
A section of online users took Khaligraph’s move in kind, and went ahead to big him up for extending an olive branch to his perceived foe.
However, not everyone thought Khaligraph was being sincere in his gesture.
Radio host, Jalang’o, asked the controversial rapper to cut the publicity stunt and take to the stage with Octopizzo so as to prove – indeed – that they have buried the hatchet.
According to fans, Octopizzo and Khaligraph remain as the foremost rap acts in Kenya, with different sections rooting for either as the best in the country.
