Keroche princess reveals she once begged supermarkets to stock her water

Apparently being born in a rich home does not guarantee you a hustle free life.

Anerlisa Muigai, the daughter of Keroche Breweries CEO Tabitha Karanja, revealed that she once begged supermarkets to stock her bottled water brand, Executive Water.

“One year ago, I went from one supermarket to another begging them to stock our water. They kept rejecting us and telling us that we needed more recognition,” She wrote.

Many were surprised to find out that she does not depend on family money for her high maintenance life as she is a CEO of her own business.

That she had to struggle to get her enterprise up and running came as a surprise to many given her family background. The youthful CEO intimated how the first one and a half years of business was grueling, explaining that she remained adamant because she believed in her brand.

I kept been heart broken and asking myself why Executive even ever existed. Some buyers even dismissed us with no further questioning. The first year and a half was hell but i did not give up. Today we are in almost all retail stores, we appreciate all the feedback we get from our customers. Never give up on anything you want to venture into. She highlighted how both supermarkets and retailers had dismissed her: “Some buyers even dismissed us with no further questioning.”

So what lessons would she pass on to new businesses?

“Never give up on anything you want to venture into. A business can take up to 5 years to be established.” She advised.

“Whatever you do, do it to your best. Learn to listen and accept your mistakes as you correct them. Do have a successful week.” She continued.

This outlook has seen the young entrepreneur rise, sharing the same space with other reputable entrepreneurs.

Anerlisa has been profiled as one of the top 20 Most Influential Female public figures in Kenya due to her status and ventures.

The curvaceous CEO works hard and plays hard.

After minting her own money, Anerlisa does not shy away from spending it.

She is notorious for sharing pictures of her lavish lifestyle on social media.

In June, she shared her GBP25000 (Ksh 2.5 Million) Birkin bag made of alligator skin.

Despite receiving flack by social media users who thought she was being too extravagant, Anerlisa kept her head high.

“The opinion of certain so called ‘bloggers’ is irrelevant to me and that won’t change my lifestyle or who l am.”

“Let me educate you, my Instagram is not a show off, it’s my way of life-one that l am bless and thankful to have. We don’t choose where to be born or who we become.” She wrote.
