Steven Chasman, the manager of popular Chinese film actor Jet Li, has come out to allay fears over the 55-year-old’s health status.
Jet Li has been suffering from hyperthyroidism, a health condition he was diagnosed with ten years ago.
The condition has left his frame significantly reduced, causing worries online over his health after the celebrated movie star’s picture went viral.
Speaking to the Washington Post, Mr Chasman said, in regard to Jet Li’s health, there is nothing to worry about.
“He has hyperthyroidism that he’s been dealing with for almost 10 years. It’s nothing life-threatening and he’s dealing with it. He’s all well and good,” Mr Chasman assured the award-winning film star’s fans.
