A host of local ad international music enthusiasts, as well as critics, are now wondering why Nicki Minaj is always at conflict with fellow artists in the music industry
During an episode of American idol where Nicki and Mariah were judges, the two stars had a major fight after a contestant sang ‘Lean on me’ with a country twist.
Mariah was not impressed with the performance and was giving her opinion when Nicki interrupted saying, “Why you picking her apart.”
This led to a huge exchange of words and Nicki walked out. In an interview, later on, she said, “I told them am not [expletive] putting up with her [expletive] highness over there.”
During her speech at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, Nicki lashed out at Miley Cyrus saying, “And now back to this [expletive] that had a lot to say about me in the press the other day” after the ‘Wrecking ball’ singer gave her opinion on her feud with Taylor Swift.
Nicki was displeased after her samsh hit ‘Anaconda’ was left out of the ‘Video of the Year’ category at the VMAs despite Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ landing a nomination and, eventually, picking up the award.
Nicki Minaj then started a feud with fellow rapper Remy Ma in 2007 when she released a freestyle titled, “Dirty Money” which included the line: “Tell that [expletive] to run it like Chris Brown.” Remy Ma felt the line was a direct attack on her and confronted Minaj at the release party.
Fast word to recently when Nicki Minaj’s ‘Queen’ album came in second behind Travis Scott’s ‘Astroworld’ in the VMAs.
She accused Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner, Spotify, Billboard and her own record label of foul play that kept her album from reaching number one.
