Inooro TV turns one

Celebrations rocked the Inooro TV’s newsroom as Royal Media Service’s first vernacular television station Inooro TV turned one.

According to Inooro TV News Manager Patrick Rukwaro, the station has managed to emerge as the top vernacular TV station with excellent viewership and ratings.

“We are extremely grateful and thankful that we have managed to run for one year and emerge as the leading vernacular station in the country,” he said.

Rukwaro further added that the Inooro TV is more than determined to meet the challenges head on in order to maintain their top status.

“Our objective moving forward is to ensure that our audience will only tune into Inooro TV as their vernacular television station of choice,” he said.

Senior reporter Jamleck Maina Wairegi echoed Rukwaro’s sentiments saying that he would like to see Inooro TV maintain its steady growth pattern.

“The staff at Inooro TV is extremely hard-working. The station creates a conducive environment for us to work towards being the top vernacular station with a National outlook as we progress,” he said.

Inooro TV was launched on October 26, 2015 as part of Royal Media Service’s strategy to diversify and consolidate its business.

Happy Birthday Inooro TV from eDaily.
