Chocolate City songstress Victoria Kimani has revealed that she had a chance to date United States rapper Future, but she turned down his advances.
In an interview with Nigeria’s DJ Shabby, the Prokoto hitmaker disclosed that she met the 32-year-old Diamonds Dancing star few years ago.
Ms Kimani said Future seductively requested for her contact, but she adamantly refused.
“I never got his number, never really gave him a chance, to really holla at me. I felt really messed up about it later and like years later, he ended up being Future,” said Victoria Kimani.
The Atlanta rapper who split with Ciara in 2014, revealed in a July 2015 interview with HuffPost Live details about his break up with the model and singer.
Responding to allegations that he had been unfaithful to Ciara, Future said: “I feel like 95 percent of relationships end with cheating, but me and her relationship had nothing to do with cheating.”
“We grew apart. When you the man, you wanna make certain decisions for yourself and she wanna make certain decisions. And I feel like the best route for me is to make more music, to go back to Atlanta and go back to my roots. Sometimes the lady don’t see what you see. That was a hard situation but at the end of the day it wasn’t about that. I called off (the engagement) long before any cheating rumors came out.”
Future added that Ciara wasn’t mad when he called of the relationship, because he explained that he wasn’t interested in a marriage that would be highly scrutinized by industry insiders and the media.
Ciara’s new relationship with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson made headlines in July 2015 when Wilson said the couple is honouring their Christian faith by abstaining from sex.
But Future had contradictory comments about his own intimate relationship with the singer.
“God told me something else,” he said. “He ain’t tell me to wait. I guarantee you that. We prayed afterwards though. After we did it, we prayed. That’s a true story.”
Future has fathered four different babies with four different women, including Ciara.
