A man from Gakoe in Gatundu North has been arrested on suspicion of raping his two daughters aged 13 and four.
The man, in his forties, remains detained at Kamwangi Police Station, and is expected to be arraigned at the Gatundu Law Courts on Wednesday, December 13.
The man’s 13-year-old daughter is said to have gotten pregnant following the repeated rape acts allegedly committed by her father.
The suspect, Paul Njoroge Ndungu, has allegedly been raping his two daughters repeatedly and threatening them with dire consequences should they speak out.
Ndungu was arrested on Monday, December 11 after his 13-year-old daughter reported him to Gakoe chief Elijah Chege.
Area Deputy County Commissioner Amos Mariba confirmed the incident.
