Psychotropic substance

Four nabbed with ‘mchele’ in Narok bar

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations have arrested four people suspected to be drugging revelers in entertainment joints.

Announcing the news via their Twitter handle, the DCI says the Tuesday morning raid at Calabash Bar and Restaurant in Narok led to the discovery of at least 250 grams of a psychotropic substance.

Wikipedia describes a ‘psychotropic substance’ as ‘any drug capable of affecting the mind, emotions, and behavior.’

“DCI Detectives in Narok raided Calabash Bar & Restaurant and arrested four suspects with approximately 250 grams of a psychotropic substance that is suspected to be used to stupefy unsuspecting revellers in entertainment joints,” reads the tweet.

The DCI further warned revelers to stay vigilant in entertainment joints.
