A Form Four student at Istiqama Secondary School in Mombasa County was forced to sit for his Chemistry test in hospital after he collapsed Thursday morning.

According to the institution’s Chairman, Omar Shariff, the student fainted at school shortly after completing an English exam.

Mr Shariff said the student was rushed to the Coast General Hospital, where he was diagnosed with low blood sugar.

Mr Shariff has urged students to ensure they take a balanced diet and get enough sleep to prevent such incidents from occurring during this exam period.
