A man, whose two daughters were among three suspects shot dead following an attempted terror attack in Mombasa County last Sunday, moved to court Wednesday seeking clearance to have his daughters buried.

Abdirahman Hussein filed an affidavit in a Mombasa court to be allowed to bury his daughters Maimuna Abdirahman Hussein and Ramla Abdirahman Hussein without postmortem examination conducted on them.

The deceased were among three female terror suspects fatally shot on September 11, 20i6 at Central Police Station, Mombasa.

Mr Hussein, who was accompanied to court by Haki Africa officials, had earlier lodged his plea at Mombasa County Police headquarters, but was directed to Central Police Station where the incident occurred.

However, senior police officers at Central reportedly declined to sign the affidavit, insisting that Mr Hussein should wait for official communication from government pathologist and anti-terror police officers from Nairobi.

The terror suspects’ bodies are still lying in Coast General Hospital mortuary.
