Jamal Nassul Gadafi, who is an actor at KTN, has allegedly been killed by his girlfriend after they quarreled during a party in Mlolongo, Machakos County on Tuesday night.
Grace Kanamu Namulo, 40, allegedly stabbed Mr Gadafi, 39, to death using a kitchen knife at the Arks Hotel at 6:15pm after wrangling over reasons yet to be established.
Mr Gadafi, who was an actor in KTN drama series “Junior” and formerly of KBC’s “Vioja Mahakamani”, was rushed to Shalom Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
A Good Samaritan reported the incident at Mlolongo Police Station on Tuesday night.
Athi River Police boss, Sharma Wario, has confirmed the incident.
KTN’s Managing Director, Joe Munene, has issued a statement following Mr Gadafi’s death.
“We are saddened to learn about the tragic death of Jamaal Nassor. He was a versatile actor and previously starred in the ‘Junior’ TV series, playing the role of Baba Junior. Our prayers go out to his family and friends at this difficult moment,” said Mr Munene in his condolence message on Wednesday.
Police have launched investigations into the actor’s killing.
